Ah... I miss the 90's and the public misconception of how Dinosaurs worked.

Also, am I to assume Dinobot would also be really small. Since that's how big that species really was?

really, really tiny. If he's kept a velociraptor, that is!
It's why I tend to fanon him up to a Utahraptor, they're a bit larger than a human, and closer to Dinobot's alt-mode in the show

All us 90's kids had our ideals of dinosaurs tainted by Jurassic Park. To us, raptors should be as tall as a man, brown-lizards, and function like African wild-dogs. But most evidence says they behaved in an almost insect like manner, working in complex hives and swarming prey, and were (again), chicken sized.
